Over the weekend, our team managed the delivery of structural steel and steel pipe trellis infill panels for a rooftop terrace project in downtown Washington, D.C. We oversaw the lifting of the materials to the roof via a crane and staged all of the steel around the roof to get ready for construction.

The renovation project is for a commercial office building upgrading their existing rooftop patio to a modern terrace where tenants can relax and enjoy the outdoors. The scope of the project includes removing the existing awnings and replacing them with a steel frame canopy and retractable awning. It also includes installing a stainless steel kitchen, planters, bench seating and perforated aluminum railing panels.

Our team managed the crane and street closure permit process to shut down a very busy street in downtown D.C.

When the Nationals 2019 Championship Parade collided with our scheduled day for crane road closures, our team patiently and productively maneuvered around the schedule change. By focusing on communication and problem-solving, our team made the adjustments to the schedule without losing time for the project.
